Equal Housing Opportunity

Fair Housing Statement

Rick Janson, JD/MBA Realtor®, and rickjanson.com fully support the letter and the spirit of the federal Fair Housing Act, the federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, and all applicable state and local civil rights laws governing housing.

Our Commitment

We do not discriminate, and we do not facilitate discrimination, in the advertising, sale, rental, financing, brokerage, or appraisal of housing on the basis of any class protected by federal, state, or local law. This commitment applies to every interaction on this website, in our marketing materials, in property tours, in negotiation, and in our day-to-day brokerage practice.

Protected Classes

Federally protected classes under the Fair Housing Act include:

  • Race
  • Color
  • National origin
  • Religion
  • Sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity)
  • Familial status (including households with children under 18, pregnant individuals, and persons securing custody of children)
  • Disability

Colorado state law and certain Colorado municipalities add further protected classes, including but not limited to:

  • Ancestry
  • Creed
  • Marital status
  • Age
  • Source of income
  • Military status

How We Describe Properties and Areas

All property descriptions, neighborhood profiles, and market commentary on this site are written to describe property and market characteristics rather than to indicate any preference, limitation, or discrimination based on a protected class. Where we reference schools, places of worship, parks, trails, or other community amenities, we do so as objective, factual proximity information.

We do not provide search filters, area labels, or content that steers consumers toward or away from any neighborhood on the basis of a protected class. Buyers and sellers are encouraged to evaluate any neighborhood directly using publicly available data sources and their own personal criteria.

Reasonable Accommodations

If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate fully in our services - including alternative formats for any content on this site, accessible meeting locations, or any other accommodation - please contact Rick Janson directly at rick@rickjanson.com or +1-303-589-2320. We will work with you to identify a reasonable accommodation that allows full and equal access to our services.
